BBO – Bridge Base Online App Reviews

Until the app is either returned to the previous version or this one is vastly improved, I have deleted the app. As a consumer, my way of showing displeasure is to vote with my dollars. 8/23/16 Update. I just tried the updated version 4.0.2 and have to say that I consider it to be vastly improved. It is clear that the programmers listened to our complaints, and worked toward fixing the problems. I did delete the 4.0.0 version and only played a little on my computer, but not my iPad. I am happy that I can now go back to using my tablet.

Chat Box in iPad has been deactivated with this upgrade. Please fix this glitch. Handstwo

This latest version is horrible. The card area is smaller and the design is awful. Not quick for navigation and junk at top and bottom on iPad version. Oh I cant believe this. Is there a way to use the former version?

I know intentions were good but the update is awful!! No chat on iPad2. Had to go dig out old original one to be able to play!! The format is horrible and so "in your face" bold when you sign on. Cant find friends as easily. Have to search and fool around to see where everyone is. Why remove the More Tab?? Let one have a good over view of friends while playing Have to tap chat button every time you want to say something and it stops working without reason so then no chat at all. Want the option to go back to 3.91 version. Your advertising is going to suffer from lack of use! Still dont understand why we cant use 3.91?? Customer support emails were more than rude!

This is a good game although it doesnt help much if you are learning. The biggest issue is the amount of time you sit waiting for someone to bid/play. It appears that a lot of players just leave the game without making their departure known. So you are sitting there waiting for someone who isnt there. They need to make sure everyone who asks for a seat knows how to exit the game properly.

Cant play because screen is blank about half the time. Used to be my favorite game

This game is for bridge snobs only. The players are intolerant of almost everything and are ever so rude.

Want to play bridge 24/7? This is THE only online site I use and I have been playing on it since its inception. Steadily making improvements is key to my enjoyment. Love it!

I have practiced through BBO and have lost the ability to Play Anonymously. What a downer.

I can no longer get into BBO ON MY IPAD. I GET A MESSAGE THAT I AM NOT CONNECTED.

Problems With connection time outs!

Ergonomy on ipad is rather good, and this app is overall a good start. What lacks mostly is the possibility to choose the table where to play, and in particular selecting the country of the tables for playing. Looking forward for further upgrade.

Congratulations for the improvements. BBO is definitively THE online bridge platform, also on "smart" devices (iPad for me)!

This app is great but is missing a very important feature and that is the list of tables. You want to play in a certain room or club not just anywhere this app takes you. BBO has different levels of skilled players and most players enjoy playing in a certain club. Example the "main bridge room" is very advanced and many different nationalities playing that room, where as "relaxed bridge room" is exactly that, playing relaxed bridge, where skill doesnt have to be at an advanced level.

Wont connect to Internet, too frustrating!
